Architecture in Helsinki In Case We Die Use the high def feature. :) ----- Carve your name into my arm, 'Cause I long to feel your name blood red. Leave our love life at the door, What's in store? We don't know just yet. And that is why when we get together, There's no need to be clever, Lightning struck at eleven same as last night. We talk deeper than weather, Baseball cap with a feather, Fire engine's here to quell the blaze that's our life. Sidestep neighbours full of lust, Good times rust, And the runaway's best. And when the love detector finds a spark, It's before dark When we couldn't care a less, And that is why when we get together, There's no need to be clever, Lightning struck at eleven same as last night. http://bookinghunter.com Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland. Helsinki is spread across a number of bays and peninsulas and over a number of islands. The inner city area occupies a southern peninsula, which is rarely referred to by its actual name Vironniemi. The most important places to visit in Helsinki are: Helsinki Cathedral (one of the most iconic landmarks of Helsinki. A neoclassical styled 19th century church, it is a must see for all visitors), Suomenlinna Island (short ferry ride from Helsinki, it has an imposing 19th century fortress. The site is on the UNESCO world heritage list), Uspenski Cathedral (built in 1868, it is Western Europe's largest Orthodox church. Russia's influence is evident in it is red façade), National Museum of Finland (located in a gorgeou...

Heading back to Finland - and specifically Helsinki - was our greatest surprise this summer. As the capital city, it has the attractions any big city offers, yet it somehow retains plenty of small town charm. One of the main reasons is that you're never far from nature. Hop on a bicycle or kayak and you within a few kilometers you'll feel as though you're all alone at one with nature. The Senaatintori is located in the centre of the city. The square is dominated by a monument and surrounded by a number of fine Neo-Classical buildings. Check out my top 10 tips on things to do on a budget in Helsinki, the capital of Finland in Northern Europe. Helsinki (Finnish) or Helsingfors (Swedish) is the capital of Finland. Founded in 1550, the "Daughter of the Baltic" has been the Finnish capital since 1812, when it was rebuilt by the tsars of Russia along the lines of a miniature St. Petersburg, a role it has played in many Cold War movies. Today, Helsinki pulls off the trick of being something of an international metropolis while still retaining a small-town feel. The best time to visit is in summer, when Finns peel off their overcoats and flock to outdoor bars and cafes to enjoy the sunshine. Helsinki's current population is about 604,380, but the Greater Helsinki region including the suburbs of the neighboring administrative ...

Night drive in Helsinki 2013-09-07 at about 01:30 - 01:55. Starting from Tapiola, Espoo driving towards Helsinki via Länsiväylä. Through the districts of Ruoholahti and Kamppi, next to the Central Railway Station, up to the district of Kluuvi. Over the Hakaniemi bridge, via Sörnäinen shoreline to Teollisuuskatu which is one of the two main throughfares in the district of Vallila. Driving up Ratapihantie as close to the area where the new city center will be built in Central Pasila. Up to Hakamäentie and exiting the city towards Espoo. It was about 6 celsius and 99% air humidity, the camera (Sony HDR-CX105E) kept fogging up and was unable to keep focus. Made for an interesting dreamy effect in some places, annoying fuzziness in others.
